ABOUT
I'm Linus Ekroth! A Stockholm-based photographer, videographer, and designer with a thing for music.
My work lives at the intersection of image and sound. Concert photography, music videos, artist portraits, album artwork, promotional content. if it's visual and it's music-related, I'm in my element.
I hold a Bachelor's in Media Technology with a specialization in Digital Image Production, and I've spent years working as a freelance content producer across photography, video, and design. I also have a background in teaching media and journalism, which means I don't just produce content. I understand how it communicates.
How I got here
It started in university, helping friends build their social media presence and design album artwork. From there I moved into working with local bands and music organizers in Karlshamn — Monopol Boyz, Annelis Franska Balkong, and the chamber music association Pro Musica among them.
Stockholm is where it really accelerated. Connecting with creators like Linda Florin, Jennie Nord, and Studiefrämjandet Stockholm opened doors to work with artists and bands including Aligned, The Unguided, Silverlake Murder, and The Hate Project. I also covered Skrikpodden at Helltown Festival in Helsingborg, which remains one of my favorite shoots.
Other work
Alongside music, I produce high-volume studio photography for schools and sports associations through Bildexperten, Expressbild, and Porträttbyrån — working with professional studio lighting in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Through Frej Creative AB I've handled everything from event and concert photography to behind-the-scenes marketing content.
And since 2022, I've been deeply involved with Youth Europa, the Erasmus+ NGO starting as a participant and now facilitating my own youth exchange projects often focusing on media & media communication
